 I Voted Early

Plantation West Regional Courthouse of Broward County

Whatever your precinct and polling place, you can Vote Early at any of 20 locations shown on the map, with links to detailed maps for some locations.  Please be courteous of other voters by studying a sample ballot before you come to vote.  Bring a valid picture identification with a signature, such as a Florida Driver's license. Your voter's card is not necessary to vote, but it might have your correct polling place location for voting on November 7.  On Tuesday, November 7, if you have not voted early or by absentee ballot, vote only at the polling place designated for your Precinct.  DO NOT give up your right to vote!  Do not accept a Provisional Ballot except as a last resort.

The Plantation West Regional Courthouse is northeast of the intersection of Pine Island Road and Broward Blvd.  One report indicated a long line at this location on October 21st, so you might prepare yourself by bringing a magazine or something to read.  Parking is free.

You can enter the complex either from the east side of Pine Island Road or from the north side of Broward Boulevard.  There is considerable parking near the Public Safety area, and even more parking east of the West Regional Library.  There is only one entrance to the Plantation West Regional Courthouse, and that is on the northwest edge of the half-round building.

Notice: On Election Day, November 7, 2006, you must vote at the polling place listed on your voting card or other location designated by the Broward County Supervisor of Elections.  Polling places sometimes change, so you might also check the newspapers.
